Sean Healy founded Healy Corporate Communications (www.healycorp.com) in May 2008 to support the communications and publicity efforts of a range of corporate clients, including The Coca-Cola Company, Cardinal Health and Blumberg Capital Partners, a commercial real estate investment firm. In addition, he is a senior consultant to Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, one of the world’s leading public relations firms. Healy’s career has spanned senior PR roles at some of the country’s best-known and most-admired Fortune 500 companies, including Visa, Electronic Data Systems, AlliedSignal and NYNEX. Before starting his own consultancy, Healy, 44, had been SVP and partner in Fleishman-Hillard’s corporate & business-to-business group in New York. As a senior consultant, he specializes in media relations and publicity strategy for a range of clients, including Lenovo (the world’s third-largest PC maker), EDS and Columbia Business School.
A native of Norwood, Mass., Sean Healy worked for the Boston Red Sox from 1981-1987, where he calculated the attendance of all Red Sox games at Fenway Park through those seven seasons. NYNEX (now Verizon) hired him in 1987 to publicize the NYNEX Yellow Pages. The company relocated him to New York in 1989 to manage financial communications at corporate headquarters. He is a 1985 graduate of the Boston University College of Communications. Healy also holds an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
